Privacy Policy

KLS Sessions helps you discover curated jazz and groove nights across the UK. This policy explains what the app collects and how we use it. We may use your IP address and device timezone at a coarse level to default which country's listings you see. We do not collect precise GPS location.

Information we collect

• An account is optional. You can browse listings without signing in.
• If you sign in, we store your Firebase user ID, email address, and display name so we can sync your library. Saved shows, followed venues and artists, and your show diary stay on your device and also sync to our servers while you are signed in.
• If you turn on notifications, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging to send alerts for new bills at rooms and artists you follow. Reminders for saved shows are scheduled on your device. You can turn notifications off in Settings.
• If you log a show, we may send an anonymous device identifier, your worth-it or skip signal, room tags, and the linked venue or artist slug to our server. We do not collect your name, email, or precise location for this feature.
• If you submit feedback or a bug report, we store your message, an anonymous device identifier, app version, and any email you choose to include so we can follow up.
• When listings are refreshed, the app requests event data from our events service. That request may include standard technical information such as your IP address and device type, as handled by our hosting provider. Coarse IP country may be used to suggest UK or Ghana listings.

Third-party services

• Event listings are aggregated from publicly available sources including Jazz Live UK, PizzaExpress Live, K.O.G, and Jembaa Groove, plus curated rooms we add manually. We are not affiliated with listed venues or promoters.
• Sign in is provided by Firebase Authentication. Apple, Google, or email credentials are processed by those providers.
• Push delivery uses Firebase Cloud Messaging. Apple and Google process a device token for that purpose.
• Tapping links may open external apps or websites (for example Spotify, ticket sellers, or maps). Those services have their own privacy policies.
